When we bought our lakeside retreat I thought we would be there forever. The day my husband told me he wanted to sell everything and try RV living I cried for 2 months straight, but now I’m an RV fanatic, and I’ve got you a list of 16 must-haves that go above and beyond the necessities to make your RV lifestyle even more enjoyable. Starting an RV lifestyle is an exciting adventure that offers a wealth of unanticipated pleasures, and you don’t have to do without just because your home is smaller.

We've learned along the road that living in an RV offers more than just the basics—it's a chance to create a customized retreat on wheels. I’ve prepared a list of 16 must-haves in our transition that I now would never think to live without and have turned our RV into a home. Hauling your laundry to the local laundry mat is the worst and this is great with handles to carry to the car. Also it's very pleasing to the eye. And I love ours that fit into some pretty compact areas of our RV.

This is the exact one we have in our RV and the minky inside is quite cozy on those cool nights in the RV. 

Your keys are the last thing you want to lose when you are on the road. I put this key rack right by the door and always know where my keys are. Stay organized on the go with a key rack, ensuring you never misplace your keys during your travels. Add convenience and style with this mail and key holder. 

When you are on the road it's definitely a must to sit outside and enjoy the view or get to know your neighbors. You will want a outdoor rug to add to the comfort. Define your outdoor living area and add a touch of home with a durable and stylish outdoor rug.
